Last updated: October 2026
Palmera Legal, based in Quintana Roo, Mexico ("the Firm"), is responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). This notice explains what data we collect, what we use it for, and how you can exercise your rights.

Personal data we collect
We collect the data you provide directly when you write to us through the contact form or WhatsApp: full name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, and the message you send us. We do not collect sensitive data through this site.
Purposes of processing
We use your data to respond to your inquiry, follow up, and, where applicable, provide the legal services you hire us for (primary purposes). As a secondary purpose, we use aggregated, anonymous site-usage data —through Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights— to understand which pages are visited and improve the site; these tools do not use cookies or identify you individually. [PENDIENTE: revisión de abogado — confirmar si existen finalidades secundarias adicionales].
Cookies and tracking technologies
This site uses a single first-party cookie (not third-party) to remember whether you accepted or rejected this notice, so it isn't shown on every visit. You can delete that cookie from your browser settings; if you do, the notice will appear again. Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which we use to measure site performance, don't set cookies or track visitors individually.
Data transfer
We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your data with providers that help us operate the site or deliver the service you hired (for example, the email provider that delivers contact-form messages), only to the extent necessary for that purpose. [PENDIENTE: revisión de abogado — listar proveedores y, si aplica, transferencias internacionales].
ARCO rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to Access, Rectify, and Cancel your personal data, and to Object to its processing (ARCO rights), and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to us at contacto@palmeralegal.mx stating your request and the data that identifies you; we'll respond within the timeframes set by the LFPDPPP.
